Starting in 2000, a Sephardic minyan congregated regularly in the home of Rabbi Awraham Daus. By 2006, the demand for a Sephardic synagogue had become so great that the Jewish Community of Berlin opened the doors of Tiferet Israel, a Sephardic-orthodox minyan. It is located at Passauer Strasse 4. Reuven Jaacobov is the synagogue’s officiating rabbi.
