The centre has 81 residents living in flats ranging in size between 40 and 56 square metres, divided among five floors. The retirement home opened its doors in 1980. It is named after Jeanette Wolff (of blessed memory) (1888 – 1976). Wolff was a member of the Berlin city council and federal parliament. The devoted trade unionist, she was one of post-war Germany’s most prominent female Jewish leaders.
