jewish berlin (jüdisches berlin - jb) is the monthly magazine of the Jewish Community of Berlin. It is published by the Board of Directors of the Board of Representatives, which is responsible for its content according to German press laws. It first appeared in 1998. It provides information about the community as well as about other topics of interest related to Jewish life in Berlin. It also addresses themes and controversies on a national level.

jb appears monthly, from September through June, and is published in German with the most important articles and themes being translated into Russian. There are no issues in July and August. Community members receive the magazine free-of-charge. However, it may also be purchased at selected bookshops; one may also subscribe to the magazine at a yearly rate of 25,00 euros.

The editorial deadline is on the 15^th of each month. Deadline for posting advertisements is on the 10^th of the preceding month. There is no guarantee that unsolicited contributions will be printed.
